Dana, a passionate advocate for Social Emotional Learning, leverages two decades of experience as a teacher, coach, and trainer in diverse school settings. Her expertise and research make her a respected figure nationwide. For over twenty years, Dana has empowered educators and school leaders to create positive learning environments, build lasting relationships, and offer professional growth opportunities. Through her three published books and numerous training sessions, Dana inspires vibrant, inclusive learning spaces for students of all backgrounds. Her unwavering dedication ensures educators recognize their worth and remain steadfast in their profession, leading to improved student behavior and academic achievement. In addition to teaching workshops, she has worked on the research and development team for the Middle School Approach and co-authored two books, “Closing Circle: 50 Activities for Ending the Day in a Positive Way” and “The Responsive Advisory Meeting Book.” When she’s not working, Dana lives in New Jersey where she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, creating, and doing home improvement projects.
